Many a night whilst being blown to hell by one of jamos grenades people have told me of wonderous brews they have perchanced upon while pursueing lifes meanders. I have usually partaken in certain alcoholic beverages myself at the time and come the morning have forgotten the names of the beers so I thought I'd start this thread. If you have come across a fine brew in your time perhaps you could note it here so that others may seek it out.
By the way Stella Artois is NOT a fine brew.

Now this is my type of thread! Well done Biscitt!
One of my favouritist brews of the moment has to be Old Speckled Hen. And that's not due to the obvious chicken tie-in, I happen to think it's a very fine ale. However you have to watch how many you have as it creeps up and pecks you on the back of the head!
And just for a little bit of variation; I'm also partial to Marstons Pedigree, Theakstons and Exmoor Stag!.... Yum!

Well now down in good ole Haaampshure we've a fine selction of ales brewed at the lovely Gales Brewery in Horndean. The pick of the crop is definetely HSB a nice strong amber coloured ale thats one of my all time favourites www.gales.co.uk/ Only problem is that its recently been taken over by bloody Fullers who are closing the Horndean brewery which has been running for over 150 years!! So my beloved HSB will now be produced in London with different water and I'm sure will taste entirely different! So, if you're in the area get yourself over to Horndean for a brewery tour and tasting before its too late.

Real shame about Gales, 4000+ signitures on the petition to keep it. We are losing Ridleys here which is over 100 years old and a very nice brewery.
Partial to whitstable bay organic (Shepherds neame) consiton bluebird (bottle conditioned and availble in sainsbury's yippeee).
Currently waiting for Blonde bombshell which is the summer ale brewed at my local the old Cannon in Bury St Edmunds.
And its the east anglian beer fest next week just round the corner, I'll be the one dribbling and giggling in the corner

Not sure I've tried that one Moog, on the subject of flavoured beer, WaggleDance is an easy drinking honey ale that I'm quite fond of

Yoinks! Skull Splitter sounds a bit scary.
On a different tack, I have just purchased a 6 pack of Brahma. I'ts a bottled lager from Brazil and tastes much like the Mexican Corana, I know it's neither a real ale or fine brew but it's quite nice and dirt cheap. My corner shop is selling it at 50p for a 355ml bottle.
