Well it looks like Summer is about ready to disappear (did it ever appear?) and so its almost time to put away the cold lagers and bring out the real ale thread!
I had a few nice pints of Tribute on Friday what's everyone else drinking at the moment? Any good offers out there we should know about?

Still drinking Badger Champion my current fave. Had a nice Ale in the George pub whilst in London, the house beer, think it was called George Ale had the label Sammy Green? Not sure as by the end of the night I had tried quite a lot of it just to make sure I really did like it.

I had a couple of days in Dublin with the ladymissus not so long ago. we went around the Guiness brewery and as a result i have a rekindled fondness for the black stuff. (*)
Apparently, the trick is to gulp it down. Sipping makes it taste bitter, (**)

I love Brahma - it has to be the nicest bottled lager i've had in a loooooong time.
If you like IPA's - Little Creatures Pale Ale is extremely nice

You can't beat a good pint of Abbott. Or Spitfire for that matter!

Abbot I seem to remember is very nice but after recent trials I wasn't very impressed with Spitfire. Badger Champion is still a fave and Bishops Finger.

ypur right biscuit - it'll be a while before i'll be drinking it again - after finishing of the crate I remember why i stopped. Or to be precise I don't remember,,,,, If you get what I mean.
I'm moving back to Australia soon, so will start back on the little creatures Pale Ale - it's brewed 20 mins from where i'll be living. Great days, and am close to lots of micro brewers - back for some chilli beer

Took me ages to find this thread bout time I added a new beer.
Circlemaster by Wychwood brewery described as a Golden Pale Ale an interesting taste.

Had another Wytchwood brew on Saturday Wytchcraft Blonde Beer not bad: "A pale golden potion with delicate red hues, WychCraft has a heady burst of fresh citrus aroma derived from three infusions of Styrian golding hops. A sprig of gentle warming malty flavour finishes with a dry biscuit note and a counterpoise of bitterness." I had Swan's Lake last night brewed by Jennings. Slight fruity taste I thought but with a hoppy aftertaste officially as described below: " Swan’s Lake 4.2% ABVLight chestnut ale with sweet biscuity & malty flavour with a hint of spiciness. Balanced hop flavours from three English hop varieties" This is a seasonal beer apparently available in Autumn www.westcumbriacamra.org.uk/
