Pedigree was my firewater of choice when I was a youngster. Marstons do a nice mixed case at the moment which is 12 bottles 4 each of 3 different types. I think double drop and single malt are the other two in the case.
all get my recommendation. ;D

My personal fav is Spitfire, closely followed by Bishops Finger and Hobgoblin. Being from Kent and living not a million miles away from the Shepherd Neame brewery,i feel honour bound to champion the local(ish) brewery. Now if only Mackesons were still in Hythe....

I haven't looked through every page on this topic, but I see you all like your Real Ales and Beer. I can highly recommend this site if your looking for something new, rare, oh hell, even quite common. I've used them before for hard to find beers - one's that I've had abroad and can't buy in the usual shops over here. I would say though to make it worth your while on delivery charges order more than one case. Obviously if you're into Real Ale click on UK beers Sorry if old... www.beersofeurope.co.ukdon't be fooled by the Europe bit - it's pretty worldwide

tis a great shop that in kings lynn try and divert through there when we go to the norfolk coast.
Nice to be back on real beer after a couple of weeks drinking pish.
Did discover sierra nevada pale ale which is nice and a bit like the coppers someone recommended.
Sam Adams oktoberfest and something called yuenling were alright, but you wouldn't go looking for them
