Once I have a nice shiny new desktop (looking at Dell Studio - lots of PC for the money) I'll come join in some fun. Got many games on Steam, but most of them don't work on my laptop too good.
Got Dawn of War plus expansions, and Commander Keen on here though...

I've only got into the PC gaming recently as I'm looking for alternative game experiences. Something to spike my interest.
I've just finished STALKER. I quite enjoyed it really. Sum of it's parts rather than any one bit. It's an RPG with guns and good FPS gameplay with good AI. A bit rough around the edges and different in a good way. Only cost £10 (PC cost £!@*? though!).

Fantasy MMO with no monthly fee and VERY PvP oriented, but only in scenario/battlegrounds so you don't get attacked if you just fancy going out to kill monsters/do quests for a while. (Also, you don't have to level your character if you just want to PvP - you can roll a max-level toon and kit it out ready right from the start.) They released a pack recently with the game + all 3 exdpansions for under 35 quid... |

Shadowrun yes, I have it but never got to play it properly before the PC started to play silly buggers, but the graphics I did see were incredible.

Don't you need to be in a regular group all at the same time to progress? It seems the mechanism is designed to make people feel compelled to play so they don't let down their mates or progression. I would fail miserably! |

okay - got my Steam user name wrong  I'm not sure how it works there, my name currently is shown as TAW_RiEvEr because I was a member of the TAW clan for QW (I led one of the squads) so try that one. I did bang a FR out to pabs and one to "amazingreflex" so, if that's you, add me please! ;D Left 4 Dead out in about a month on Steam PC, I'll probably be buying it on PC and 360 - top game - look for me online once it goes live  |
