This is mine As i know nothing about this stuff is this good? I am supposed to have a 10mb broadband connection Downloads seem very quick so i assume all is okay, but looking at this it looks like i am getting just under 8mb (if i am reading results correctly)  I used a link to adsl guide (posted within this thread) and it reported 1.4mb Download and 0.5mb upload how can i get two such varying results? I'm very confused |

shit I KNOW I gotta change, it's just I don't trust Virgin & they monopolise the cable front of Broadband & I can't be 100% sure that other companies will improve on my phone line.... I just got this test -  bugger twice as fast as dial up!! |

I tried to download the PGR3 mini car for tonights game it's only 33mb so it should take a minute or two... not F**##ing 1 hour!! which is what it did take!!  sorry Biccy I messed it all up. didn't get to play DT either |

Switch ISP's moog - I went with Be - very good. With those kind of stats, I would have thought you would be lucky to even stay in a game on Live!

I'm changing my ISP in July when I get back form my honeymoon. I'm still on a 1mb connection with pipex and its been really slow lately. |

Yeah thats not bad at all! Good download speed of about 5.5mb per second, your upload speed is on par with normal broadband too. The only slight thing you might want to check is your latency or 'ping' - Latency or Ping is how long it takes your computer to begin sending or receiving information to the chosen server, it basically sends out a little signal to check that everything is alright. Once this signal has come back it then begins sending & receiving information .... so the quicker the Latency or 'Ping' the quicker your broadband will be ... but it is server dependant.  I think im a bit addicted to this Speed Test website, |
