Also when you buy a x box 360 you open it up and see a LONG grey ethernet cable that cable is mile too long even it might work but think of the signal coming all the way thru same as a hose pipe the shorter the quicker so i change all mine to 1 metre and it alot better now that a idea to think of  |

I need the speed for my game need for speed lol you all keep a eye out for better broadband and better offer i know some bt only goes up to 8 mb also my friend got 24 mb from a company but i have never heard of it and he been having trouble with it better off with BT or well know server provider so if problem there they are ( sometime ) lol

Those who offer to host Please check your broadband and upload limits because when you host yourself the game will run fine because the hosr ping is 0 mean perfect but think of other players theirs may ended up way too high and end up with lags those who got 1 mb or 2 mb the game will suffer with lags on depend how many people join
The host wont see their lags but others will
Best way before offering to host check what upload speed you have if it brillant then no problem if it low dont bother it will affect others
some may say it fine and say nope it worse
Look for offers try get 8 mb broadband or 10 mb if that in your area that if your a full time gamers lol
I know we all like to host but before setting up a game check other gamers to see who got the highest best upload and get them to host for everyone benfit and keep everyone happy
For example some have a match on and the person hosted he might have 1 mb then hell others will have a bad time lol and lose of coz cos firing will not hit them unil 2 sec later due to lags
I have join some servers and the connection was poor it not the host fault it just the way broadband or adsl network is but those with higer speed aim for them and u get a better gaming

1971 download 192 upload That's rubbish isn't it? sound like you have 2 mb broadband or adsl i wouldnt say rubbish because it good for internet and e mails but gaming 1 to 4 players is fine but more than 6 players to 12 it will be a struggle Mind you look out for offers some time u get 8 mb for the price of 2 mb and most people didnt know keep a eye out |

Flaps! I'm back! (again) my laptop died a horrid and bloody death last week, right in the middle of me writing on this very forum!! blast it! I decided to buy a new and powerful foehammer of a 'puter to be happy with just done a bb speed check & got some nice numbers -  ;D |

this good or bad as i do not have a clue it okay upload is near 400 as the higher upload the better upload is a must for gaming few people think it all down to download but nope when u host you are uploading so your score is ok from 400 or over is good 200 to 300 is ok but will cause lags if too many players |
