Just wondered if anyone was planning on going to any gigs this year. Thought it would be fun to meet up at gigs.

Are The Kids from Fame still touring?
Bless me father for I have sinned. At a young age I confess to going to a concert starring The Kids from Fame.

You've just reminded me how sad it is that the last gig I went to was Metallica in... 2003!! Thats how much shift work messes up life.
I think I'll have to go see someone soon.
I'm also in the process of setting up a band, so maybe I'll have those gigs to worry about soon!

That's not bad funky I had a gap of about 21 years unless you count classical stuff which is not proper gigging.

I am going to see Electric Light Orchestra part II tomorrow night. Being forced to go with the other half and my brother-in-law.
Will need to shoot some people after that I think or I will "turn to stone".... (soz)
Last real gig I went to see before that was Eric Clapton and Elton John at Wembley. Won it on a radio competition about 15 years back. Curtis Stigers and Bonnie Raith were supports. We were in the *ahem* executive box. And I got shit-faced. Typical scouser with free booze.

That daft Fold out stage thing that Elton was on is all I can remember of his performance. Mind you I was way sozzled by then.
