I am having problems posting replies to the boards. Quick reply works OK. This is to test if I can start and reply to a thread. Don't know where else to post this.

I've tried standard reply system doesn't work anyone any ideas? I'm using a Mac and Safari as my browser is that the problem?

Thats weird......I'm no techie so i can't give you any advice on anything 'Technical' lol but I hope you suss it out.
Can you reply to this post by clicking the 'Reply' button now? or do you still have to type in the quick reply box? What happens when you click the 'Reply' button?

I think the problem is because some of the java scripts i am using on this forum are not cross-browser. So if you use anything other than Internet Explorer they won't work.

I have loads of trouble with I.E. it always crashes it's cr*p.
Deviant?..Microsoft are the evil empire and much heart searching was undertaken before I bought the XBox as opposed to the PS2. I still feel like a traitor to my kind.

Aahhh! Tried using I.E. 5 everytime I go to 'profile' bloody thing crashes *tears hair out* back to Safari for me.

Can someone let me know what the emoticon codes are for use on the forums please. I can only reply to threads using the quick reply so can't insert smilies using the javascripting but have noticed they appear by typing old fashioned text codes using colons and brackets. Unfortunately I don't know codes for many.

click on reply tb the smilies shud be just above where u type,,16 of them,,just click once

I use a MAC and just assumed that the posting problem was because of that. Now I know for definite - cheers.
Oh and I can use smilies now as well - double cheers
MACs look better which is what counts.*smirk*
