Apologies for the over excited greeting in topic - but I couldn't think of anything more appropriate to convey my joy at finding a like minded bunch ;D

Anyway, as you can guess from my username (also my GT), I'm Liz, 30 years old, live in Bromley, work in London.

I'm completely new to whole xbox (360) phenomenon. I've had my 360 about a month - after giving up waiting for the PS3 yes, I know, shocking that I was even considering it (but I've had a PS2 forever now and it's done me no wrong).

Anyway, currently playing CoD2 (attempting to get through on hardened difficulty - never will I attempt Veteran). Other games - well I'm a bit low at the moment, Saints Row (completed), Just Cause (given up as it feels like there's something missing), Dead Rising (yet to be started, lent to me by a mate).

I played my first game of CoD2 on Live the other day and got thoroughly trashed. So left quickly with my tail between my legs.

Erm, that's it really, just want to play people like me, who the saying was invented for "it's the taking part that counts". I do like to win occasionally, but you know, it's more of a pleasant surprise when it happens. Am I sounding too defeatist?

Hello Lizziekins welcome to the GOF, you'll find that most of us on here are much like yourself in that we like to win occasionally and when we do it is something to celebrate, unfortunately it's an all to rare occasion so we just have fun.

Wow! Another good lady converted to Xbox..... IMPRESSIVE!
There is more to life than corry and Eastenders ha ha! hope you enjoy as much as we do.... send me a fr if yoh like.... the more the merrier. Perhaps with a few more lady fraggers on line my Mrs will join in and instead of beating me with a stick she will be me at Cod 2 or graw instead!
