Hi there. I'm really new to this. I'm 34 and love gaming for fun even though I'm not great at it. Not been on xBox live for too long and mostly I've played Pro Evolution Soccer 6 online. I just bought Rainbow 6 and think it's great. I tried online and when I created my character it asked if I wanted a prefix. I'm guessing that's how you tell what clan people are in. If that's the case it sounds like this is the clan for me, I don't take gaming too seriously, just want a laugh. So how do I join then and what prefix do I need to put on my character. Is it then easy to find other members within the game, can you search by prefix? Sorry if these questions sound dumb. Anyway my gamertag is Stu01942 and I'm always happy to get friends requests, I had none on my list until I signed up on this site.

Welcome Stu. Plenty of Bluebloods play R6. A game can be found most nights. Prefix-wise stick BB in front of you name (but I'm not sure it's essential. The BB hierarchy will I'm sure clarify). Send out FRs...check out this thread to see who owns which games oldandpants.proboards36.com/index.cgi?board=360games&action=display&thread=1134138970When sending out FRs let them know where you found them. We're very Stranger Danger aware here

Hi Stu. Can't remember ever being asked for a prefix when I set my account up. As Lizzie said, you don't really need one. Most people just stick their clan details into the 'motto' bit on the Xbox profile. It just helps to identify yourself to others who you haven't met / played before. Once you have sent a few FR's out people will spot when you're online and start inviting you into games and away you go. We all just game for fun on here (we're not good enough to be competitive anyway ;D) so it sounds like you'll fit in fine.

Hello Stu,
The whole prefix thing in Vegas is voluntary it's just nice to see who is a BB in a game. You know you're amongst friends when you do.
There is no proper clan support in Vegas but I think there is in GRAW2 perhaps someone can clarify that for me as I don't have the game. There is also clan support in Battlefield 2 MC which allows you to see which games other Bluebloods are in but not many folk play that as you can't host a private room.
There is no requirement for pre or post fixes on this site. I will send you the Blueblood only area password. Welcome to Clan Blueblood. Have fun, Die Laughing. ;D

Thanks for all the replies. Feels like a very friendly bunch here so I'm looking forward to meeting you all on R6V. You'll know which one is me, I'll be the one who when faced with an opponent manages to shoot walls, windows, doors, furniture, and anything else on the screen apart from the actual enemy. My few seconds of frantic shooting is usually then followed by the enemy firing one bullet straight into my head. Sometimes I even get shot without seeing where the bullet came from. It's all good fun though.

Hi Stu Got your message this morning. My friends list was full so I didn't get your FR (amazing what's happened since I joined the GOF forum!). I have deleted a couple of people so send an FR through again and I'll add you.
Veritas - duly noted
