GRAW got to a hard part

I've got to a bit where you have to protect the mexican President, while there are loads of bods shooting at you.....you have to just hold out until the air support arrives.

1/where is the best place to position you three troops
2/if they get hit is it best to TRY and save them (normally results in MY death) or leave them to die
3/after the tanks have been taken out i always fail the mission because the President gets killed

Can anybody offer any help on this one?....cheers

Don't know whether you've got passed this now (is this the firefight in the square?) but I generally found that my AI 'elite' colleagues are more a liability than anything. I seem to remember just letting them and the President get on with whatever they want to do (which usually means trying their best to commit suicide) whilst I just kept moving and shooting. I seem to recall trying to keep reasonably close to the President, but, my experience was anyone as stupid as he is deserves to get shot!!!!

Don't know if that was really any use, but the friendly AI really is dumb and I don't think you can do much about it if they're intent of wandering around in the open! Just keep plugging away!

Hard Setting....Not Me

Now i'm on the bit where you shoot loads of bods from the helicopter, then land in Semi-darkness and have to take out some AAA's?

Have been put down, (wounded) on my own in a little roundabout, and within about 10 seconds a truck pulls up and a few bods start shooting at me! (the audacity of it!)
so i hide behind a tree and take them out, then as i move further up the street i get shot from the other side of the truck...I am stuck, for the moment using the sniper rifle from the previous mission which isn't helping.....
Been playing Gears for the last two days, so gonna have another try tonight

That level is a bit of a pig Biscitt. I had to do it at least a couple of dozen times and that was just trying to get into the building where the presi is, in the end I think I just made a run for it down one of the ramps. Once down the ramp and you get to the presi it saves a checkpoint and then basically you have to get out again which is again fairly difficult especially if you havent taken most of the guys out on your way in. Heres a walk through that may help

Sorry Biscitt, can't remember how i got past that bit, but it got even more difficult later on in the night modes. There are some invincibility cheats out there , gonna post about that somewhere else on the forum.
