Well I suppose it is probably worth someone with a bit of time signing up and having a go at something to see how it works out. I've just out of interest created this: starbuck.enjin.com/and i will have more of a play over the next few days to see what it does and how easily configurable it is |

Dang it really is that simple, it looks good as well, what does everybody think? obviously we are gonna need to work on a few designs etc but it's all there with a few bells and whistles as well...plus that's the free version. ;D

Happy to support and can even put myself forward for helping in any way required. Have a little bit of experience of running a PC Based Clan Website before I turned to the XBOX so have missed this side of being in a friendly community. Sign me up Baldy... :0)

I've attached a word doc showing some screenshots of the basic site and some of the admin options. It really looks very simple to administer and make look shiny. Having taken the screenshot on the first page of how it is at a basic level, I'll have a play and see just how glossy I could make it in terms of what we as a clan sort of do. I'll let you know how easy it was and see what you guys think. I'm not barging ahead really as I don't expect you to like it, I'm just quite intrigued at a personal/professional level, and if you like what it can do then all the better really. Attachments:

Yeah I think someone should message Bazman out of courtesy, he hasn't posted since January so he's obviously not been on here much. Also worth mentioning to Polite Vengeance as well as he is the clan's founding father...even if he's not online here anymore.

Absolutly don't want to step on anyone's toes here believe me. If anyone wants to come over to starbuck.enjin.com/ and register so you can come in and have an explore, then please do, if anyone wants to be an admin and play with the settings and themes, again please let me konw - I set it up as a play/test site to see what it can do and am more than happy (and would welcome!) anyone, particularly the admins of this forum to sign on and see all the admin features.  |

Wingy had that earlier and found that a confirmation email ended up in junk? It would be good to know the reason why some people may be having probs. Once you're in I'll sort admin rights for those who want a look Oh and it's about 8 dollars a month, in total to run a site with more features. Were currently not very clear on what level it is showing as now - it says something along the lines of free membership starting in 7 days, and still being I'm trial period, whether that means we have all the bells and whistles now to lure us in and in 7 days it will disappear, has yet to be seen, but we can decide a bit later I suppose. But the donations box is all built into the site. |

Bit late in attending......but! Vote: Aye, So we are all after updated Gx's? thats the reason for change ? to bring in fresh blood, reinvigorate current memebers? I am intrerested in what the perception of each of us is. PV...Any reponse back? I have seen him online (Reach of course) the last week or so, I would not of thought ony objections, but as the founding member of the clan, it would be fitting to have the offical seal of approval. Anyway we can take over our current post stats? or a link to the new Signature? Pab's..yes we have been remiss in the Lan party!! and your 100K cheev'ment |
