Am I the oldest member?

Am I? I'm 67 next birthday. I 've been playing MW2 on XboxLive and - quite often - getting slaughtered for my pains. I like to pretend it's the stick sensitivity but it's really my slower reactions I suppose. Mind you, I can't resist roaming around rather than camping so that doesn't help
I usually play Free for All so I don't pee off the other players on team matches but I'm looking for private MW2 team matches with older players and - maybe later - on Halo and other games.
I don't know a thing about Clan/private game playing so I would welcome advice and maybe some contacts

As I said I'm completely ignorant about clan/private matches. I take it one of the private team has to host the match? And the maps used have to be the extra downloaded ones and not normal game maps? - I'm that clueless about it. (At present I've got a few WAW maps but no MW2)
At present, I am so peed off by the normal Live play I was set to terminate my membership when it expires on 1/12/10. But, I want to try the private play and see how I get on
So, first I need a good grounding in the way team play works. Is there somewhere here for that - FAQ's or a write up? How many people for a good team play session? etc Regards

As for age...I am a lil younger, not that this helps in any shape or form..quite often I tend to be looking the wrong way, while being shot in the back!

As for private games, lol, stear clear of me and my grenades on all games, and left for dead I am a right pain with the cocktails , tend to do more harm than good...

Hi forestrider - You may well be the oldest member but are no doubt in the right place ;D. Just 43 here but looking forward to playing for many years to come.

I don't have MW2 (tend to play more single player stuff unless something really grabs my fancy) but just thought I would pop by and say welcome aboard.

Hi flashingblade. I can sometimes be a bit of a loner myself. I find running difficult on MW2 so generally mooch round with that feeling in the back of my neck "where's it going to come from?"

How does single playing work on this site. What games would they be?

Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age & Alpha Protocol are probably the 3 I have played the most recently as I like my RPGs. Dragon Age particularly. I most have logged an unhealth amount of hours into that

As I said though, some online stuff I love. Chromehounds was great as a team game & the original Gears of War & Left for Dead were good fun too for verses matches. Just not found anything recently that has grabbed me. Hopefully something will come along soon though as it I do enjoy a good blast with the guys & gals on here.

I've mainly played WAW and MW2. Does that not play well here, with an older and (hopefully) slightly less murderous crowd? Just occasionally I've found myself playing Free for All with a good decent balanced crowd and it's great. I'm hoping to find the same here.
