Another Newbie

Hi All

35yr old gamer here, play mostly slightly older (therefore cheaper) games.

Gears 2, MW2, Rainbow 6 vegas 2, Call of Duty WAW, etc etc... Next purchase either BFBC2 or FF13, any advice on which is best??

Anyway, feel free to add me for some gaming fun.

Welcome RoadRunner! You can't really compare Battlefield to Final Fantasy...I'd go for Battlefield, but I'm still scarred from FFVII, so I'm biased ;D

Welcome Greg, if its MP your after you can't go wrong with BFBC 2 (huge thread below) pretty much all on here split between that and <cough> COD

FF XIII is the latest version of the classic series and after finishing it a few days ago i'm not sure i can recommend it to non fans of the genre, if your a JRPG/FF vet then go for it, if JRPG's/rpg's leave you "scarred" (LOL) then avoid like the plague.

Well id opt for BFBC2 myself, im enjoying that more than ff13 which i just seem to be bashing A button till next cinematic. Dont get me wrong still the usual amazing ff cinematics, they should just stop trying to squeeze a game in there and just admit they make very good animation films instead.
