Transformers, Iron Man, Tropic Thunder, Casino Royal, Quantum of Solace, WALL-E, X-Men Trilogy...
That should get you started.

Pirates! but then im a bit biased there - underworld, underworld evolution. if the hd-dvd transfer of batman begins is anything to go by, that should be pretty mighty on blu-ray too. i am legend looked pretty impressive too, though its a so-so movie.

Good website with reviews of BluRays as they come out High Def Digest and also you can check here to find out if a disc is Region Free. They're both American sites so they generally post a reviews before the discs are out over here. A few recommendations, in addition to both Red's and Dandy's excellent suggestions, from me would be: - Ratatouille - A belter from Pixar
- Shoot Em Up - The best sound on a film, very loud
- Watchmen - I really enjoyed the film but the director edition adds a few extra scenes which I loved, some great extras too. Region free; get this from playusa.com
- 2001 - A great example of how old films can look when a really good restoration job is done on them.
- The Shawshank Redeption - I love this film and you pick this up dirt cheap most places
- Beowulf - Decent film, add to this almost perfect picture and sound.

Hey picked up my first Bluray player at the weekend to go with my Samsung 40" LCD (that I got at Xmas ;D ).
Plumped for Sony BD360 (Maxx I saw you post about it on AV Forums!) from Richer Sounds, came multi-region for my old R1 dvds and came with 3 free BD discs Angels & Demons (OK), Slumdog Millionaire (cool) and Terminator Salvation (OK).
I also bought Batman Begins and The Dark Knight which both look AWESOME and the Bourne Trilogy which I'm looking forward to watching again!
Almost bought a PS3 but held back as I just don't get to play the xbox enough as is and besides the Bluray player was much cheaper!
I've found the upscaling on some of my old DVDs is hit and miss. For example, Gladiator looks really good but Pirates o the Carib' looks awful like its a bad VHS taped off the telly! Think I'll have to play through them all and upgrade to BD where necessary!

Zulu, tho only 2.0 is a great film to Re - upscaling, I feel it's better than my old Dvd player...which was £60 ;D so no grumbles here. You have HD surround? makes a world of differance IMO. I was very choosey in my AVforumns tag
