hi guys
what were the films that defined your youth, you know the ones that take you on a ride of nostalgia when you watch them?
excluding anything star wars, my picks would be Cannonball Run, Top Secret (the bit where that guy is running after that tree STILL cracks me up now) , Ghostbusters, Back to the Future (saw that 5 times in the cinema!) and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
OMG!!! almost forgot - Clash of the Titans!

Dunno if this is far enough back in the old memory thing but defining movies have got to be : -
American werewolf in London - God that film scared the bejebus out of me.
Lost boys - This movie not only defined my youth but also a era. Favorite line has got to be the first meeting between michael and the head vampire as he dates the boys mother "and you must be Max".

I remember watching "The Thing" one Sunday afternoon when I was about 9 or 10. Parents were out and my older brother loved gory films. Scared the kak out of me but got me into horror films in a big way.
