I've got the X1s as well I'm happy with them but I find that they seal out external noise too well and I tend to shout thus rendering them useless when I'm trying to be quiet late at night and my wifes in bed

Yeah i was the same when i first started to use them. I have kinda leant to wisper now but it can take alot of concentration, especially when i'm drunk! It's a bit like talking under water lol. It got me thinking. Maybe all these little gobshites screaming down the mic over Live are just really misunderstood... uh nahhh. ;D Metshaz, would appreciate to hear your opinions on the new headset when you get them.

Still no sign of my headsets, at least Amazon have warned me of the delay. But no idea when they are actually going to arrive

Well, i phoned Amazon today and cancelled the order as they have no idea when they will be getting any stock of these in. If any of you guys know where to buy them, let me know. Cheers

After much review hunting I went and bought myself a set of Skull Candy Low Riders. At £32.99 they're in the cheaper range of things - but wow they're good for the money. As a comparison I have a set of Sony DJ headphones that were £24.99, and they are significantly clearer than those when listening to music.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to sample their in-game abilities, as my only headphone adapter cuts out the right channel (my Sony's have a screw on adapter, which isn't suitable for non-screwy headphones).
I'm considering investing in a more expensive, bigger pair of Skull Candy phones for my general home music listening now, seeing as I can't afford a decent set of Senheisers.
