This has probably been asked before but how do I get my own avatar onto this site. I don't mind the pre loaded ones but would be nice to use my own.

Valla - go to "Profile" and "Modify Profile" and you should find a Avatar uploader section.
Just browse to whatever picture you want and hit host it... it should be fairly straightforward from there.
Alternatively one of the mods might be able to help you more directly.
