I've got a friend who's a talk talk account with an MT882 version 2 router. He's trying to open the NAT settings but can't seem to configure it for Xbox live.
Any help? Can you point us in the right direction?
I'm sure there are some talk talk customers in the bluebloods.

Can you point us in the right direction? I'm sure there are some talk talk customers in the bluebloods. Don't quote me on this, but apparently somewhere on xbox.comn there is a list of routers that are qualified for Open NAT usage on Live. If you do "Test network connection on Xbox 360" and click the "more info" button is explains the exact link I think. Perhaps that router isn't on the list? On Netgear routers if you have UPnP disabled it defaults to Moderate NAT rather than Open. Not sure if that helps.

I have a talk talk account with a Netgear which has moderate NAT, this is fine most of the time, I've only ever had problems with Halo 3 though, all the other games have ben fine.

As far as I'm aware pretty much any router that you can gain access to the advanced settings can be configured to give an open NAT, it's just a case of knowing which ports to open. Try going to www.portforward.com I found this very useful when I had a non Xbox Live recommended Zyxel router.
