System Linking

Mav (or anyone else ) heeeeeeelllp!!!!

I have two 360's one wirelessly networked, via an Apple Express widget, one hard wired to the same router. Created a system link game on one but the other couldn't see it. Tried both ways round.

I made sure they were both disconnected from Live before trying.

Subnet mask on each are the same everything else is different.

i would suggest trying both on a wired connection.......if this still doesn't work have you got another router or connect the cable directly between the two consoles. might be the settings on this apple widget thingy, never had one myself so know nothing about them.
are both of the units connecting to the internet via this widget? if so cannot see why you cannot system link other than the game does not support it. If they do connect to thee live at the same time just set up your own private room (so long as you are both gold members)
I have a netgear wireless router and as long as any console connected to it uses the wep key when setting up all will connect via system link or live.

or do wat we did and buy a 16 port switched hub use one port to connect to broadband router and voila 15 boxes can system link/access live .............. Bit much i know but ours only cost about £24 delivered from e-buyer i think it was BARGAIN!

They both will connect to Live but one is on the 3 month free Gold and don't know whether we will renew so would like to get them on system link.

I am puzzled, will try the hard wired thing and cut out the widget.
