I have about 1500 tracks on my laptop. 360 IS connected, and sees the track, but there are only about FIVE that it will actually play.
I get a red circle with a line through it on almost every song...
Any Ideas?

Were all the tracks ripped in the same format (MP3, WMA etc)?

Yeah, i checked them all out...Well not every one, but a big sample of them. They are all MP3 format. And have no DRM attatched. But TWO really strange things...
I ripped a new cd the other day, using Windows media player for the first time. They are in mp3 format.
THE WHOLE CD WORTH OF MUSIC PLAYS FINE.
But possibly even more bizzare, Windows Media Centre Edition, on the 360, using the SAME music library, plays every song fine!!!
Anybody?
