I was just wondering as some people have got some weird names. Mine ive had over 5 years, my fav film is Boondock Saints (sequel soon) and if you have seen it there is a tattoo on one of the saints hands that says Veritas which means truth, so i pinched the name ;D . Ive used the name since my early days on a pc mod called Day of Defeat for Halflife and Action Halflife which is another mod. I am part of a very large community called aMp which means A Mellow Production we are the same as you guys we play for fun and fun only and lots of crazy beer and gaming nights we do not have racism and abuse, as these people get banned for life. Im also going to the Netherlands in July for a huge 3 day lan with the rest of our community and the programmers for Action Halflife. Well i hope that made sense lol

Last year I started playing Guildwars Philosphies on the PC and couldn't think of a name for my character as I'm not very creative but had just finished watching an episode of the new Battlestar Galactica series and Adama and Six are two of my favourite characters in the show. Admiral Adama - Dont know his real name but played the captain in Miami Vice and was also in Blade Runner. He's as cool as a cucumber in BG Six (Caprica Six) who is a sexy mutha hustler of a Cylon. Now if I was to fall in love with a Robot she'd be the one!!!!
I like other characters in the show such as Colonel Tie and Baltar but Adama Six had a nice ring to it. I use G-Daddy (a little joke between me n my missus about who's the boss at home) for online poker and GMan for hotmail etc but these just didn't really sound as good as Adama Six
Well there ya go. Would be nice to see how some of you other guys got your tags

My GT isn't that inspired either, an old nickname I've had since I was knee high to a grasshopper derived from my first name (Damion, yep, that's an 'o', not an 'a' or an 'e') and as that was already taken, stuck my DOB on the end.
Though on reflection it has too many syllables, so feel free to shorten it to Demon, D, DC, something like that, much easier than saying the whole thing.

Well mine is a weird one,
In the past I have been known to do standup comedy with a friend. Our act was called 'Shark Attack Explosion' and we were educational rappers hell-bent on ridding the world of evil! The characters names were Wingus & Dinugs
So DingusSAE

Been using mine for years now. It originally came from an old amiga game - Hired Guns. There was a character I liked from that game called Desverger, so I just kinda made it a soft r to keep it somewhat unique.
And it worked, been using the name for years, and if you do a search on google I'm pretty much the only one out there using it. Which came in handy in my MMOG experiences (it no fun being called Legolas6 or some such derivative in my mind).

i know this is an old thread but decided to post anyway, the Dai San part of mine is from a trilogy of books i read when i was younger the outcast part is for a couple of reasons:- dai san was not available on its own and i had no one to play on-line before i joined bluebloods which is the main reason i didn't bother with live before now so thanks for accepting me and for the games i have played

Inspiration was very thin when I came up with mine. Old arcade game three letter entry. Most people used their initials but I liked BAT as I thought it sounded cool and linked weakly to Batman. When I joined Live I thought there was bound to be someone with the tag BAT so I put the 1st in front to make an unnecessary statement that I was first, even though I probably wasn't. www.factorizer.co.uk/The 1st BAT,0,ffffff,000000,0.png[/img]

Here's where mine came from. The Vector part comes from an old super-car from the 1980's called the Vector W2. It never went into production but at that time it was faster than the Lambourghini Countach. I was fascinated with super-cars and as this is a unique one - I just liked the name Vector. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vector_W2The Rogue part comes from X-men where the character Rogue had the ability to absorb the life/skills from other characters. I thought that was an interesting skill and joined the two bits together.
