Read a really good book whilst on my hols thought I'd share:
Title: The Republic of Trees
Author: Sam Taylor
Think Enid Blyton's Famous Five crossed with Lord of the Flies meets Blair Witch with a sprinkling of Apocalypse Now. A disturbing little novel not for the faint hearted. Read it if you dare.

Tis fiction Moog. Trouble is Moog once you've done your test you just have to get a bike and all the gear. Tad more expensive than a console.

A couple of books I would recommend for those who like something a little different are:
Title: The Bridge Author:Ian Banks ...................contemporary fiction Title: Feersum Endjinn Author: Ian M. Banks .... sci-fi
Both by the same author he uses the name Ian M. Banks for his sci-fi novels. They are a little strange you need to give yourself a little time to get used to the style particularly with Feersum Endjinn. Worth a borrow from the library.
PS Go for it Moog nothing ventured nothing gained.

One of my favourite books is Temeraire by Naomi Novik. It's like Master and Commander but with dragons. Sounds odd but it works like pepperoni and pizza.
