You got that right Spiff. It's like a sore tooth though, no matter the pain you find yourself(in my case) being drawn to large shopping centres....DOH!!

well my eldest sister managed to freak me out when I was 6. Mom & dad had gone out & left her to baby sit. She thought it would be really funny to put on the tv movie of salems lot. At the bit where the first vampire shows up, she sneaks out side & starts scratching the window. I obviously freak out. As if that wasn't bad enough, she spent the next few months leaning out of her bedroom window at night, scratching my window to freak me out even further. To this day I still can't watch it on video & then go outside for a fag on me own

Salems lot is a very creepy film if you saw it first when you were young. That vapires face popping up still makes me jump even tho I know it's going to happen.
Similar sort of thing to Zoltan - Hound of Dracula. I saw that when I was about 12. It scared the shit out of me then especially as we had dogs and I just thought they were vampires. But if I watch it now it's really quite laughable.
American werewolf in london. Nightmare on elm street 1, 2, 3. Friday 13th (early films), Alien...s, It, oh, there must be loads more.

I have it on DVD but haven't got round to watching it yet.
There is a new hellraiser film coming out, but doubt it will get a cinema release over here.
& how could I not have mentioned house of 1000 corpses yet. not very scary, but a bloody cool film. may get to see the sequel, devils rejects, at the weekend.

I managed to freak my mate out after we had watched Ring. We were in his kitchen sorting out some feed - so I called the house phone from my mobile, tee hee. He nearly filled his trousers and just said "I'm not f*ckin' gettin' it!"
;D ;D

...anyone seen The Machinist yet? Not super scary but downright disturbing. Directed by a guy called Brad Anderson who made a film called Session 9 which I think is fantastic, really creepy, building tension all the way to the end of the film.
