morning boyz n ghoulz, bored in work once again. so lets get into horror movies. what film? which villain? and why? what movies scared the hell out of you or which ones still do? mwaaaaaaahahahahahahaa!!! going to start with a cliche, i have to say "IT" the only thing scarier than tim curry as pennywise the clown is time curry as a tranvestite in rocky horror.

The Nightmare on Elm Street films scared me when I was younger, ditto Alien and American Werewolf in London.

i agree with the alien movies, great suspense. 28 days later? running zombies, yeah that pretty much freaked me right out, like the chase up the block of flats. love american werewolf in london but the one bit that got me was the dream sequence when the nazi werewolf came out from behind the curtains groovy

candyman...a classic. it was also great fun to watch it at my mates house (who is afraid of mirrors), then say candyman 5 times into his bathroom mirror before going home. poor lad never slept a wink.

I watched Don't Look Now recently which is full of 70's wierdness. It's a bit of a slog for nearly 2 hours but when the ending came I had about 5 seconds of absolute pure fear. Although I was expecting some thing I wasn't prepared for quite what happened. I don't fancy watching it again but I'll happily lend it to anybody - just to get it out of the house!!! I also like asian horror, it's generally good until the yanks get their Hollywood hands on it. Current faves are Ring (Original The Ring) Ring 2 Ring 0 Ju On (original The Grudge) The Eye Ichi The Killer Audition. This has one of the best endings ever to a love story. (well thats how the director bills it)
