Anyone read the new issue of edge?
I dunno if it's just microsoft hyprbole but J Allard had a word on the differences between Xbox 360 & PS3,
the number crunching apparently doesn't add up & previous thoughts PS3 would be 2-3 times higher spec than xbox360 is unlikely!
Seems, PS3 still has blueray, & cd / dvd re-writing more than 360........

Anyone seen the E3 footage of Killzone2 for PS3??
My jaw hit the floor hit the flaw when i saw it. Think of a game but with the graphics from the CGI Final Fantasy film.
BUT,
Now they are saying it might not have been in game footage as Sony claimed but pre-rendered.
There's a shock.

Sony are really bad when it comes to being honest, every time they release a console it ends up with being about half of what they promised, after they saw the 360's specs they probably cacked themselves as they probably had 3 zx81's glued together and painted it silver....the controller looks like a boomerang on the ps3, cool if u get pissed of with a game as u can throw it away and u don't have to get up as it will come back to you...lol

I've seen a few PS3 game demos now, and there is very little to call between it and the 360. In fact, I'd say they're of such similiar power its negligible.
I also saw some new pics of a magazine trying out a loan unit. The console itself looks much better than I expected, smaller and sleeker. I'll still wait 18-24 months until they're a bit cheaper though!
