hope you all can come....
a money saving idea... if anyone shops at tescos you can use the deal tokens to buy annual passes
i have just got me and red an annual pass each for £47 of vouchers... the pass are worth £95 each
dont forget to keep an eye out for the papers... usally do 2 for 1 entries and such like as well as the crisp and chocolate wrappers.... woolworths also tend to do a voucher booklet with money saving coupons

Will definitely be up for this as my lot love Alton Towers ;D your day dvd... a very cool idea £ 14.99 (i think) gives you a dvd with you on certain rides and park footage, pick up a wrist band with a radio wave chip and when you pass the sensors on rides or certain areas in the park they film you... just collect at the end of the day ... a bonus is that only 1 person per group/family/couple need wear a band .. so only 1 dvd.. just make sure you all sit together Have tried the "your day DVD" and I have a word of warning. When I last went Sept 07 for my sons birthday there were five of us and they recommended that everyone wears the wristband. At the end of the day you have to report back to the distribution centre near the park entrance and after queuing for a long time they check each wristband to see if the sensors around the park have picked you up. Out of the five of us we only had one sensor that picked us up on one ride (corkscrew) and you don't actually get to see the footage before you buy it. Anyway, we purchased it at a reduced price as it was only one ride (about £8 I think) and what you get is basically some pre-recorded generic footage of the particular ride you were on with some clips of you (if you are lucky) edited in at various points ie the first section where you are taken up on the conveyor to the top and maybe a couple of corners. On the positive side you can always take that footage and create your own DVD with photographs you have taken yourself and add them as a montage with what you get on the DVD. If the technology worked properly it would be cool but it still looks a bit hit & miss at the moment.

Hey CAM3L you could always get yourself a "Bazman" there is only one though, but he's great, he tends to take pics and video footage of us on the rides ;D

I'm definitely up for this.
Will probably just drive down for one of the days. I'll wait and see which one is looking like the most popular, can do either at the mo'.

Would love to do this but I fear my eye balls may explode as Blackpool Pleasure Beach knackered them last time. A day on the tea cups would be pretty boring so I will have to give this one a miss. Hope you all have a great time thou

I plan to be in Paris that weekend, which leads to my next question for Cam/Red - how far is Disneyland from Paris. I'm on a hen weekend and it might be a giggle to go for the day
