Am I? I'm 67 next birthday. I 've been playing MW2 on XboxLive and - quite often - getting slaughtered for my pains. I like to pretend it's the stick sensitivity but it's really my slower reactions I suppose. Mind you, I can't resist roaming around rather than camping so that doesn't help
I usually play Free for All so I don't pee off the other players on team matches but I'm looking for private MW2 team matches with older players and - maybe later - on Halo and other games.
I don't know a thing about Clan/private game playing so I would welcome advice and maybe some contacts

Hi again veritas. I would, of course love to accept your invite - as soon as I've learned the ropes re this site. I don't think I'm that bad a player- considering my age. I'm nearly halfway through the achievements on MW2 - I don't play it all the time - and my ranking is 45 as Forestrider44. That's another question. I much prefer i'llgetmecoat as a name. I assume I would have to change my online name to play as I'llgetmecoat - and pay about £7 for the privilege?

Maxxreloaded you're so right. I've just changed from Sky (800k down and 300k up) to Virgin and I'm getting 19+ MB downs and 700+ up and it's like heaven. raise your glasses to fibre optics..........
Yep Xbox want some money. I don't think I'll bother after all. I was going to change it to I'llgetmecoat and Fumbleguts but I'll leace silly old Forestrider intact

Welcome Forestrider, my bones are old my heart is young. I reckon that the wiring to my house from the exchange must be corroded or something it's the only way I can explain the single figure kills in MW2.  |

Hello all. I can stay up past 11.00 Dandymount. At the moment I'm back to gagging for a good basting on MW2 and it's 300-4.00 am lately (well I'm retired and not a lot on this past few weeks) A couple of times I started seeing double before the end - and I hadn't touched a drop.
Re your wiring Biscitt, it's your internal wiring (like mine) that's at fault
I can't believe what I do sometimes (try to run thro brick walls, get stuck on bits of debris etc, stun myself regularly, keep trying to get over walls that are insurmountable, shoot skywards, get knifed regularly, often seem to be running in the opposite direction to whoevers coming along) It's a wonder my killers don't die laughing - the bar stewards!
It's a struggle for me to run (it's the legs you know) I've given up trying to fire grenades point-blank - it don't work.
When you think, we only have to be milli-seconds slower and we're dead meat. I can remember being mullahed by my kids on the Coleco and Intellivision - and I was only 35 then. Once, I got so frustrated I clipped one of my kids - that's haunted me ever since.
I don't know if you've played "Rust" on Free for All. It's like being inside a hive of angry killer bees.........

Don't forget Outcast that, nowadays, a lot of rubbish is recycleable...

You're not of course but repeat it to yourself when, like me, you're hiding. It helps to pass the time...........
I'm thinking of suggesting to Xbox that they create a selection of electronic library books to read during sessions. It can be lonely in the bushes..........
