Finally got through to Tiscali! I bet the poor girl had wished she hadn't asked why I was leaving. Should get my MAC code through within the next 5 days and then I'll be signing up with PlusNet. Maxx, you'll have to let me know if there's some code or I need to give your name for this recommendation, I'll keep an eye here and on my PM's.

I'll post some speeds up once my line has settled, apparentley that can take up to 3 days after transfering the connection.

Woo hoo look at this sucker! thought the upload would be higher so must be a glich Won't be a glich soon just signed up for an 18mnth contract with Aol at upto 8mb speed. 10gb monthly download allowance. should be upto speed between 10 - 14 working days so they say. |

Speedtest.net kicks ass! I started using it just after this thread was first posted and saved all of the data as I was suffering low speeds on my so called 20 meg superfast Virgin broadband. Long story short...I averaged out about 5 meg instead of 20 and the data I had saved served me well in bending Virgin over a barrel and giving them it tight for making me fork out an extra £144(£12per month) per year compared to the 4 meg service(I am now on) and also got me a little refund back towards my bill.
